PHILIPPINES MISSION DAY IN ROME

SEPTEMBER 25 – SVD PHILIPPINES MISSION SHARING DAY

The day for the SVD Philippines Tertiate Renewal Participants Fr. Mat, (Philippine Southern Province), Fr. Joseph Sithu, SVD, (Philippine Central Province), Fr. Jaimelito Gealan, SVD and Fr. Emil Pati, SVD, (Philippine Northern province) conduct their mission sharing started with a Morning Praise, Blossom Dance led by Fr. Heart (Jaimelito).

Diad sharing as to where one is in his journey of religious and spiritual life, still a seed, a sprouting seedling, a grown up plant, a plant with blossoming flowers, or a withering plant?

The celebration of the Holy Eucharist is featured with some Tagalog Liturgical songs. Hearty thanks to Fr. Dindo, SVD, Filipino who is working as a missionary in Togo accompanied the singing of the songs with his guitar playing talent. Fr. Emil is the main celebrant.

The main sharing on SVD Philippines Mission is presented in power point by Fr. Joseph Sithu. Sis. Lina, a Filipina Dei Verbom (International Biblical Course simultaneously conducted with Tertiate Renewal Course) participant helped us with her computer expertise and Mr. Joel Bugtong also a Dei Verbom participant helped in distributing envelopes and souvenirs.

After the mission sharing, everybody proceeded to the hall where Filipino delicacies are being served. A BIG thanks to our dear Filipino Friends who prepared the delicacies!

A LOVING SHARING OF FOOD AND DRINKS!
